Future Look of Beijing Dazhanlan Commercial Area Debuts

This is the first time Beijings famous commercial area unveiled its future look to the public.

The most eye-catching feature of the revamped area is that there will be many hotels in the form of siheyuan, or traditional courtyard residences in old Beijing. Gray tiles, red pillars and the courtyards all imitate civilian residences from the past.
