Xian-Xianyang Airport Expressway Under Construction

The two-way eight-lane expressway measures 42 to 45 meters in width with a six-metre-wide isolation belt in the center. Cars can travel at a maximum speed of 120 km per hour on the expressway.  A total of 2.296 billion yuan has been earmaked for the project. The project will take two years to complete.

When finished, the Xian-Xianyang Airport expressway will be the first the two-way eight-lane expressway in Shaanxi province. The expressway will better facilitate transportation between Xianyang Airport and Xian, the provincial capital.

Xians airport is near Xianyang, a city some 20 km away from the provincial capital.
