
According to Taiwans tourism authorities, this years expo will include a record 1,150 exhibition counters. Since cross-straits tourism is part of this years event, tourism practitioners from the mainland have already reserved 200 booths.
Tourism organizations from Iran, Kenya and Tunisia will also make their debut at this years expo. And Austria and Finland, who were absent last year, will return to the event, according to Taiwan media. Registered exhibitors include tourism administrations, travel services, hotels, theme parks and other tourism-related organizations from 60 countries and regions.
The annual expo not only provides individual travelers with useful information and budget tour packages. It also gives business managers a chance to identify economical business trips and desirable bonus awards for their best employees.
This years expo will last four days. Visitors can buy tickets to enter the exhibition hall after the opening ceremony to be held on the morning of November 3.
