3.06 Mln Expected to Fly during "Golden Week"

Chinas General Administration of Civil Aviation on Saturday launched a plan for passenger plane transportation during National Days "Golden Week," with an anticipated passenger flow of 3.06 million people during the 7-day holiday, an increase of 13.5% as compared with last year. They expect that air travel will peak on September 29th and 30th.

Statistics show that the annual growth rate of air travelers during National Days "Golden Week" averages 15%.

The General Administration of Civil Aviation asks that airline companies be fully prepared for the increase in passenger flow and possible emergencies and difficulties. People who plan to travel by air during "Golden Week" are also advised to book their tickets as early as possible.
