Yang is being treated at the Peking (Beijing) Union Medical College Hospital, said sources with the hospital and the Beijing International SOS Medical Center.
Yang was sent to Beijing by a special plane arranged by the Beijing SOS Medical Center from Yanji, capital of the Yanbian Autonomous Prefecture of Korean Nationality in northeastern Jilin Province.
She had been treated in a hospital in Yanji before the transfer.
"Her situation was getting worse in the past two days," said Jin Chengmin, deputy director of the health bureau of the Yanbian prefecture.
The traffic accident occurred at 9:40 a.m. on Monday on a highway in Wangqing County of Jilin when the 20-member Taiwanese tourist group was traveling from Heilongjiang Province to Jilin. The bus first crashed into the rail on the highway and then fell 26 meters into a river.
Two Taiwanese women and the bus driver from the Chinese mainland were killed and 18 others were all injured
Prior to Yangs transfer, Yen Wenhsiong, a 69-year-old man and Yangs husband, and Tseng Mingmei, a 66-year-old woman, had been transferred to Beijing for treatment due to their critical conditions.
Currently, 15 other injured tourists are receiving medical treatment in Yanji.
